Leanne Zhang

Leanne Zhang is a seasoned payroll and equity professional with extensive experience in managing employee compensation projects. Currently serving as Principal Payroll Projects at BHP since September 2022, Leanne leads various initiatives related to employee compensation. Prior to this, Leanne held the position of Principal Equity at BHP, focusing on governance and tax for the company's global employee equity plans, overseeing project management and corporate transactions while managing significant stakeholder relationships. Leanne's career includes a role as Senior Manager at Vialto Partners, where expertise in international and domestic employee movement services was provided, and previous experience at PwC Australia in the Global Mobility practice, offering international taxation advice. Leanne is a qualified Chartered Accountant with a Graduate Diploma of Chartered Accounting and a Bachelor's Degree in Business/Commerce from Queensland University of Technology.
