Libby Sharman is an accomplished exploration geologist with extensive experience in innovation, project generation, assessment, and research. They currently serve as the Lead Principal Mineral Systems at BHP, having contributed to global exploration strategy over the past seven years. Libby holds a PhD from McGill University and has worked on diverse deposit types across five continents. They were recently recognized with the 2024 Murray Pezim Award for perseverance and success in financing mineral exploration and actively engage in industry organizations, including serving as a Councillor for the Society of Economic Geologists.
