Lorena Ortiz Blanco

Lorena Ortiz Blanco is a seasoned procurement and consulting professional with extensive experience in supply chain management and project execution. Currently serving as Principal Mining Procurement at BHP since July 2020, Lorena has previously held roles including Principal Rail & Port on secondment and Category Management Specialist. Prior to BHP, Lorena was the Regional Procurement Manager at Cencosud S.A. from April 2015 to December 2019, where responsibilities included developing procurement strategies across multiple country offices. Earlier experience at Falcon Management Partners spanned from April 2008 to April 2015, focusing on project management and consulting, while the early career began at Deloitte as a Senior Analyst in Business Tax from August 2004 to March 2008.
