Makayla Bird

Makayla Bird (Rowland) is currently the Superintendent Contracts at BMA Coal, bringing extensive experience in contract management and administrative support. Previously, they held various roles at BHP Billiton from 2005 to 2008, including Business Services Coordinator and Contracts Officer, where they managed teams and provided administrative support to the Coal Processing Department. Their continued growth with BHP from 2019 to 2023 involved positions such as Superintendent Maintenance Contracts and Contracts Superintendent. Makayla completed Year 12 at Moranbah State High School in 2001.
