Mark Blacklock

Mark Blacklock has extensive experience in the welding and fabrication industry, beginning as an Apprentice Boilermaker/Welder at Ahrens from 1986 to 1989, focusing on structural steel and agricultural equipment. Mark progressed to PERRY ENGINEERING PTY LTD from 1989 to 1993, where responsibilities included welding for Collins-class submarines and supervising projects. At ASC Pty Ltd from 1993 to 2013, Mark served as Quality Superintendent, overseeing quality control and inspections related to pressure vessels and pipelines, while managing a team and ensuring compliance with standards. Mark's expertise further expanded during a brief tenure at BHP Billiton in 2015, where roles included Responsible Welding Coordinator and Asset Integrity Supervisor, emphasizing quality assurance, inspection, and coordination of welding activities.
