Mark Paton

Mark Paton is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in various roles at BHP since February 2008, including Head of Finance, Finance Manager, and Principal Analyst. Prior to BHP, Mark held positions at Fairfax Media from 2005 to 2007 as Accounting Systems Manager and Accountant, and served in the Australian Army as an Infantryman from 2000 to 2005. Mark holds a Bachelor's of Commerce in Accounting and Finance from The Australian National University, a Juris Doctor in Law from RMIT University, a Graduate Diploma in Chartered Accounting from the Institute of Chartered Accountants Australia, and an MBA from Curtin University.
