Matt Blatchford

Matt Blatchford is a seasoned finance professional and people leader with extensive experience in corporate strategy and development. They began their career as a Management Accountant at Arrium before moving on to roles in analysis and corporate development at various companies, including ElectraNet Pty Ltd and Terramin Australia Limited. At BHP, they have held multiple positions, culminating in their current role as Lead Principal of Portfolio Strategy & Development, where they focus on corporate M&A and business development opportunities. Matt holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of South Australia, a Graduate Diploma of Chartered Accounting, and a Master of Applied Finance from Kaplan Professional.
