Matt Pomery

Matt Pomery is an experienced geospatial and environmental data professional with over 18 years in the field. They have held various roles, including Global Principal Geomatics at BHP, where they are responsible for drafting a global strategy for geospatial information and establishing a Community of Practice for Surveying and GIS disciplines. Matt's background includes serving as a Geomatic Engineer in the Army and managing teams at BHP while implementing innovative technologies in surveying. They earned a Bachelor of Spatial Science Technology from the University of Southern Queensland.
