Michael Thomas has extensive experience in managerial and engineering roles within the resources and maintenance sectors. Since November 2010, Michael has worked at BHP, advancing through positions that include General Manager, Production Manager, and Maintenance Manager. Prior to BHP, Michael was employed by UGL as a Maintenance Planner from March 2008 to November 2010, and also gained experience as a Property Manager while self-employed from January 2002 to March 2007. Early career development took place in the Australian Army, where Michael served as Supervisor/Electrician from January 1992 to January 2002. Michael's foundational education includes attendance at Rockhampton Grammar School from 1989 to 1991.
