Michelle Morgan is an experienced geotechnical engineer with a career spanning over two decades, currently serving as a Specialist Geotechnical Engineer- Projects at BHP since May 2020, and previously as a Specialist Geotechnical Engineer. Prior roles include Geotechnical Consultant at Red Rock Geotechnical and Senior Geotechnical Engineer at Newcrest Mining, where responsibilities included operational geotechnical management, seismic system and monitoring design, and contractor project management. Earlier experience as a Geoscientist at Parsons Brinckerhoff involved hydrogeological studies and environmental impact assessments. Michelle Morgan holds a Bachelor of Science in Geology and a Bachelor of Science with Honours in Geology from Queensland University of Technology and has studied at Curtin University.
