Mischa Traynor

Mischa Traynor is a seasoned environmental professional with extensive experience in sustainability and environmental management. Currently serving as the Vice President of Environment at BHP since June 2022, Mischa previously held multiple leadership roles at Thiess, including Head of ESG and General Manager for Sustainability and Innovation. Earlier positions include Environmental Advisor at Equigold's Mt Rawdon Gold Mine and Environmental Scientist at Lloyd Consulting. Mischa began an environmental career as an Environmental Officer with the Department of Environment and Resource Management. Mischa earned a Bachelor of Environmental Science with Honours from The University of Queensland in 2002.
