Paul Cuthbert possesses extensive experience in the mining industry, currently serving as the Head of Strategy and Business Planning at BHP since July 2006. Cuthbert has held various leadership roles at BHP, including Head of Asset Integration, General Manager of Mine, Project Director for Delivery Shaft Sinking, and General Manager of Ekati. Prior to this, Cuthbert worked at Newcrest Mining as the Underground Mine Superintendent at the Telfer Gold Mine, and at Newmont Mining Corporation as a Senior Production Engineer at Bronzewing Operations. Earlier career experience includes positions with Byrnecut Offshore Pty Ltd, Normandy Australia, and BHP as a Mining Engineer and Contracts Estimator. Cuthbert holds a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) degree in Mining and Mineral Engineering from Curtin University.
