Paul Gilroy

Paul Gilroy is an experienced mining professional currently serving as the Manager of Mining Production at BHP since June 2011, where responsibilities include overseeing operations for Eastern Ridge, Western Ridge, and Mt Whaleback with a team of approximately 700 employees. Previous roles at BHP include Superintendent Production Scheduling and various Superintendent positions in Mining Geology. Prior to BHP, Paul held roles at SCT Operations, Iluka Resources, and South32, gaining expertise in engineering geology and mining operations. Paul holds a GradD in Mining and Mineral Engineering from Curtin University and a Bachelor of Science in Geology and Chemistry from the University of Wollongong, in addition to qualifications from Harvard Business School, the Snowden Group, and TAFE NSW.
