Peter Tran

Peter Tran is a Senior Geotechnical Engineer at BHP Olympic Dam, where they have been refining their expertise since 2025. A graduate of The University of Queensland, Peter obtained a Bachelor of Civil Engineering (Honors) in 2017 and started their career as an Undergraduate Piling Engineer at AUSIPILE Pty Ltd that same year. Peter's journey in the mining and geotechnical fields includes significant rotations through various departments, enhancing their multidisciplinary skill set. Prior to their current position, they worked at Encompass Mining as a Geotechnical Engineer and have experience in mobile design and foundation engineering.
