Peter Wright

Peter Wright has over two decades of experience in the mining and maintenance sectors, currently serving as a Shutdown Execution Supervisor at BHP Billiton since January 2013. Previously, Peter worked at Macmahon from February 2006 to December 2012, where responsibilities included overseeing fixed plant maintenance and supervising significant teams during major plant shutdowns. Earlier experience includes a position as a Maintenance Fitter at RCR Tomlinson from May 2003 to December 2005, focusing on shutdown maintenance. Peter Wright’s expertise encompasses executing maintenance plans, ensuring high standards of equipment reliability, fostering a safe work culture, and mentoring teams to achieve performance targets. Education was completed at Kawerau College.
