Rag Udd

VP, Technology, Global Transformation at BHP

Rag Udd has spent their entire career in the mining industry, starting as an assistant to the mine manager at Navajo Mine in 1997. Rag then spent six years as director of BHP Energy Coal, New Mexico Coal before being promoted to vice president of logistics and infrastructure for BHP's iron ore division in 2003. Rag held that position for 12 years before moving into their current role as VP of technology for BHP's global transformation team in 2015. Rag also served on the Dean's Council at the University of Western Australia from 2014 to 2015 and on the board of directors for the Scitech Discovery Centre from 2013 to 2015.

Rag Udd started their educational career by obtaining a Masters in Engineering from the University of British Columbia. They then went on to complete a Bachelor of Applied Science in Mining and Mineral Process Engineering from the same university. Finally, they completed an MBA from the University of Phoenix.

Rag Udd works with Geraldine Slattery - President, Petroleum, Johan Van Jaarsveld - Chief Development Officer, and Laura Tyler - Chief Technology Officer. Rag Udd reports to Mike Henry, CEO.
