Raza Parvez

Raza Parvez is a Principal Geologist at BHP with over 13 years of experience in exploration, mining, and project management across various commodities, including potash, oil and gas, coal, rare earth minerals, and gold. They possess a multidisciplinary academic background, holding a Bachelor of Science in Earth & Atmospheric Sciences and a Master’s Degree in Integrated Petroleum Geoscience from the University of Alberta. Raza has extensive field experience in North America, Australia, and Pakistan's Indus Himalayan region, having previously held roles as a Senior Geologist at Atrum Coal and as a Junior Geologist with Grande Cache Coal. Currently, they focus on developing sensing technology for geological mapping and grade estimation while managing a geoscience database.
