Ricardo Arancibia has extensive experience in the mining and water management sectors, spanning over four decades. Currently, at BHP since February 2011, Ricardo has held several key leadership roles including Superintendent of Delivery for the Water Recovery Tower 3 project, Manager of Delivery for the Improving Availability Reverse Osmosis Phase 2 project, and Superintendent of Commissioning for the Escondida Water Supply Extension among others. Previously, from October 2004 to January 2011, Ricardo served as Head of Operations for the Desalination Plant at Minera Escondida Limitada. Earlier in his career, experience included positions as Electrical Supervisor at Compañia Minera Zaldivar and Senior Instrumentation Technician at Compañia Minera El Indio.
