Rob Wright

Rob Wright is an accomplished Mining Engineer with extensive experience in the mining industry. Currently serving at BHP since October 2019 in various roles, including Lead Mine Design Engineer and Mining Engineer, Rob has demonstrated technical leadership by optimizing blasting activities and implementing continuous improvement plans. Previous experience includes positions at Glencore Zinc and Redpath Australia as a Graduate Mining Engineer, as well as an Industrial Trainee role at CSIRO Mineral Resources, where software coding for machine learning was developed for mineral processing data. Rob began the career journey as an Honours Student Engineer at Iron Road Limited, focusing on life of mine planning for a significant project. Rob holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Mining Engineering from the University of Adelaide.
