Rodrigo Darquea

Rodrigo Darquea currently serves as Vice President and Principal Director at Cámara de Minería del Ecuador, while also holding the position of Head of Corporate Affairs Growth for LATAM at BHP since February 2006. In this role, Rodrigo supports BHP’s growth agenda in Latin America, focusing on copper exploration and business development initiatives. Previous roles within BHP include Head of Corporate Affairs Brazil, Chief of Staff to the CFO, Regional Marketing Manager Americas, and various marketing positions. Additionally, Rodrigo holds directorships at WIM Ecuador and previously at Fundação Renova. Education includes an Ingeniero Comercial degree and Master in Finance from Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez, studies from Pontificia Universidad Católica del Ecuador, and recent completion of the Corporate Affairs Academy at Saïd Business School, University of Oxford.
