Ross West is an experienced Indigenous land rehabilitation leader with nearly 30 years in the resource and environmental sectors. As a proud Wongutha person, Ross advocates for country healing through innovative land rehabilitation projects and training programs that empower Indigenous communities. Previously, Ross held positions at BHP, where they led mine rehabilitation initiatives on Indigenous lands and managed trainee programs focused on environmental management. Ross has also gained extensive offshore experience in roles ranging from crane operator to safety advisor, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and operational standards. Currently, Ross continues to enhance their qualifications in training, environmental management, and safety through ongoing education.
