Roxana Gianazza

Roxana Gianazza is an experienced professional in the mining industry, currently serving as Product Owner for Exploration Data Foundations and GenAI at BHP since June 2019, overseeing a global exploration team data platform and AI needs. Previously, Roxana held multiple roles at Maptek from July 2014 to November 2018, including Product Owner of Digital Factory and Principal of Innovation R&D, where responsibilities included managing development roadmaps for mining software, providing consulting services, and facilitating technology adoption. Key achievements include the development of BlastLogic software, significantly expanding its client base, and establishing global support processes. Roxana's earlier career includes roles as a Drill and Blast Engineer at BHP Billiton and Straits Resources Limited, and experience as a Graduate Mining Engineer at Curragh Mine, complemented by a Bachelor of Mining Engineering (First Class Honours) from UNSW.
