Ruth Tupper

Ruth Tupper is currently the Chief of Staff to the Group Technology Officer at BHP, where they lead significant cross-functional transformations in the mining industry. With over 10 years of experience in the mining and oil & gas sectors, Ruth has held various roles that include site improvement, project management, and business planning. Prior to joining BHP, they worked at ExxonMobil as a Production Engineer and Advanced Reservoir Engineer, focusing on production optimization and asset development in Australia and Papua New Guinea. Ruth holds Bachelor’s degrees in both Petroleum Engineering and Geoscience from the University of Adelaide and is dedicated to promoting Inclusion and Diversity within the workplace.
