Ryan Saunders

Ryan Saunders is an experienced professional in the mining and heavy machinery industry, currently serving as a Fitter/Step up Supervisor at BHP since September 2020. Previously, Ryan held roles at CITIC Pacific Mining as HME Field Service Coordinator and Shovel & Drill Fitter from October 2016 to September 2020. Prior to that, Ryan worked at MMG CENTURY LIMITED as a Safety Advisor, leading incident investigations and improving safety processes from January 2012 to July 2015, and at MMG Limited as a Safety Management Document Controller and Heavy Duty Fitter/Safety Representative from August 2009 to January 2012. Ryan began as an Apprentice Plant Mechanic at BHP Billiton from 2000 to 2004. Educationally, Ryan graduated from Margaret River Senior High School in 1999 and was awarded a scholarship in Aeronautics and Aviation from Kent Street Senior High School from 1995 to 1997.
