Shaun Light

Shaun Light is currently a Principal Geologist at BHP, where they specialize in Resource Geology and Geometallurgy. Previously, they served as the Underground Geology Superintendent at OZ Minerals, managing operational teams and contractors while overseeing multiple projects and mineral resource estimates. Shaun has also contributed significantly to various geological studies, including the Carrapateena Expansion Project and a secondment role as an Exploration Geologist in Portugal. They hold a Bachelor's Degree (Hons) in Geology and Environmental Geoscience from the University of Adelaide and a Citation in Applied Geostatistics from the University of Alberta.
