Simon Hunt

Simon Hunt has extensive experience in engineering and management, primarily with BHP from December 2006 to the present, where significant roles include Manager Studies focused on front-end engineering for the Olympic Dam operation, and Principal Studies supporting BHP's GHG reduction initiatives. Prior positions at BHP also involved strategic planning, risk management, and electricity procurement. Simon's earlier career included leadership roles at Osmoflo Pty Ltd, where responsibilities encompassed design team leadership, and at Michell Pty. Ltd. managing a major capital upgrade. Simon holds an MBA from the University of Adelaide and a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from the same institution.
