Thomas Teichelmann

Thomas Teichelmann is the Head of Asset Excellence at BHP, leading efforts in production planning and strategic development. They have held various positions at BHP, including Superintendent Project Management and Process Improvement Specialist, showing a strong commitment to occupational health, safety, and sustainable development. Thomas began their career with an internship at Minera Escondida LTDA and later worked as a Process Metallurgist and Superintendent Cathode Production at Minera Spence. They earned a Master of Business Administration in Mining and Mineral Engineering from Universidad de Chile and obtained their undergraduate degree from Pontificia Universidad Catolica De Valparaiso.
