Thuy Acacio

Thuy Acacio is an experienced professional in community and social performance, currently serving as Superintendent at BHP since December 2023, and previously held the same title at OZ Minerals from January to December 2023. With a robust background in community relations and stakeholder management, Thuy worked as Community Relations and Stakeholder Manager at Laing O'Rourke and served as Senior Consultant at Reconciliation WA and Community and Stakeholder Engagement Manager at 361 Degrees Strategic Engagement Services. Significant projects include the Mitchell Freeway Southbound Widening Project and Subiaco-East Redevelopment Project. Additionally, Thuy volunteered as Principal Partnerships Manager for TEDxPerth and has held various roles in communications and events at Bankwest and Western Power over a decade. Academic qualifications include a Postgraduate Certificate in Social Impact from The University of Western Australia and a Bachelor of Commerce in Public Relations and Tourism Management from Curtin University.
