Tom Carrick-Smith

Tom Carrick-Smith is a seasoned professional in corporate affairs with over a decade of experience in strategic and operational leadership aimed at driving economic reform and enhancing public accountability. They held the role of Chief of Staff to Senator Don Farrell from 2016 to 2019 and have also served as a Union Organiser, focusing on improving working conditions within the retail sector. Currently, Tom is the Principal Government Relations at BHP, utilizing their extensive background in policy and government relationships to effect positive change. Tom holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Adelaide, which they completed in 2008.
