Tom Day

Tom Day is the Vice President of Legal at BHP Group Ltd, providing senior in-house counsel with extensive commercial and leadership experience. They are currently responsible for global corporate, M&A, and litigation matters at BHP Billiton while serving on the Executive Committees for the company's Legal Function and worldwide Coal Business. With over twenty years of experience in the resources industry, Tom has demonstrated flexibility and global awareness through roles in London, Singapore, and Australia, and has a proven track record in building and leading high-performing teams. Tom earned both a Bachelor’s Degree in Law and a Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce from The University of Queensland.
