Tom Simpson

Tom Simpson is a Principal Geological Reconciliation and Registered Professional Geoscientist with fifteen years of professional experience in geology. After earning a BSc with honors in Resource and Applied Geology from the University of Birmingham in 2008, Tom emigrated to Australia to pursue a career in the mining industry. Experience includes roles at BHP, Vitrinite Coal, and GeoConsult, where responsibilities ranged from logging exploration core to project management and consultation. Currently, Tom is involved with various roles at BHP, bringing expertise in mine geology and geological reconciliation. Tom is also an active member of the Australian Institute of Geoscientists.
