Troy Davis

Troy Davis is an experienced shutdown coordinator at BHP since June 2019, responsible for overseeing and directing contractors to ensure safety and efficiency. Their extensive background includes roles such as Leading Hand Rigger Marine Loadout at G&S Engineering, where supervision of marine and loadout work takes place, and Crane and Rigging Supervisor at Downer. Davis has also worked as a Rigger at Bechtel Oil, Gas, & Chemicals, focusing on big bore pipe installation, and held positions at various organizations including Monadelphous and UGL as an Advanced Rigger. Previous roles include Crane and Rigging Supervisor at McConnell Dowell, where notable project management was demonstrated at the HPX3 Marine Haypoint project, as well as positions at Pioneer Rigging Mackay and John Holland, with a robust safety and leadership track record throughout their career. Davis completed education at Yarram High School from 1972 to 1976.
