Vanessa Sexton

Vanessa Sexton is an experienced geoscientist currently serving as Principal Studies and Principal Reconciliation Geoscientist at BHP since March 2019. Prior to this role, Vanessa gained valuable experience as a Project Geologist at Glencore Copper from May 2016 to January 2019, and as a Mine Geologist at both Glencore from January 2013 to May 2016 and Xstrata Copper from January 2009 to April 2012. Vanessa holds a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) with Honours in Geology/Earth Science and Chemistry from Monash University, completed in 2008, and has pursued further education as a CFA Candidate from 2016 to 2017 and obtained a Graduate Certificate in Applied Finance from Kaplan Online Higher Education between 2014 and 2016.
