Diego Suarez

Diego Suarez is the current Head of Engineering & Founding Team at Bia. Diego has a long and varied work history, with their previous positions including Head of Data Science at Mercadoni, Co-Founder and CTO at Ruedata, and Data Scientist at Rappi. Diego has also worked as a Statistical Consultant for the International Organization for Migration (IOM). Diego's experience and expertise have made him a valuable asset to Bia, and they have played a key role in the company's success.

Diego Suarez has a Master's degree in Economics from Universidad de Los Andes, an Engineer's degree in Industrial Engineering from Universidad de Los Andes, and various certification in Data Engineering, Experimentation and Testing, A Crash Course in Causality, DS4A, Secure and Private AI, Sequence Models for Time Series and Natural Language Processing, Nearest Neighbor Collaborative Filtering, Neural Networks and Deep Learning, Introduction to Recommender Systems, and Data Analysis.

They work with Jyferson Colina - Head of Engineering & Founding Team, Manuel Duque Parra - Head of Growth & Founding Team, and Manuel Rodríguez Velasco - Head of Finance & Founding Team. Their manager is Sebastian Ruales, Co-Founder & CEO.
