Filipe Pedro

Filipe Pedro holds a PhD in Organometallic Chemistry from the Technical University of Munich and has built a career in intellectual property since 2007. Currently serving as the Director of Intellectual Property at BIAL, they lead the IP department and focus on aligning IP strategies with business goals. Filipe's extensive experience includes roles as a Patent Examiner, Patent Counsel at Bayer, and managing patent portfolios and litigation for various organizations. They are a qualified Portuguese and European Patent Attorney and are dedicated to improving IP awareness and processes within the industry.
