Saúl Silva

Saúl Silva is a highly motivated Senior Process Chemist with a PhD in Organic Chemistry. They completed a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry at Faculdade de Ciências e Tecnologia da Universidade Nova de Lisboa, where they were recognized as the best student, followed by a Master's degree at Instituto Superior Técnico and a PhD at ITQB-Nova. Saúl's professional experience includes roles as a Químico at Extremochem, a Process Chemist and Post-doc researcher at BIAL, and a Process Safety and Scale-up Scientist at Hovione. Currently, they serve as an R&D Manager, focusing on the development of new processes for the production of organic compounds, including active pharmaceutical ingredients.
