Charles Walther is a medical doctor with a specialty in clinical pathology and clinical cytology. Charles started their career in 2003 as a Medical Doctor at Lund University Hospital and was certified as a specialist in clinical pathology in 2010. In 2011, they became a board certified specialist in clinical cytology. In 2012, they won the TV show "Swedish Inventors" and received grants from Vinnova, Sten K Jonsson Foundation, and the Kamprad Family Foundation. In 2013, they founded B!BBInstruments with Lund University and acted as CEO until 2017 when the company was introduced to the stock market. During their time as CEO, they conducted the first pilot-study with the Endodrill Upper GI. In 2017, they became the Chief Medical Officer at B!BBInstruments.
Charles Walther obtained their Doctor of Medicine - MD from Lund University between 1995 and 2001. Charles then went on to obtain their Doctor of Philosophy - PhD from Lund University between 2011 and 2016, specializing in Tumor Genetics. In 2010, they obtained Board certification in Pathology from Socialstyrelsen. The following year, in 2011, they obtained Board certification in Cytology from Socialstyrelsen.
