Esther Brännström has held a variety of roles in their career. Esther started as a Nursing Assistant at Carema in 2011, and was also an Assistant Teacher at the Faculty of Engineering at Lund University, LTH in the same year. In 2013, they became a Development Engineer at ÅF AB and a Program Engineering Lead - Software & ECU at BorgWarner Inc. In 2017, they were a QA R&D Project Lead at Baxter International Inc. and, most recently, has been the Chief Technology Officer at BiBBInstruments AB since 2019. In their roles, they have been responsible for design and development, purchasing and production of EndoDrill product family, budget concerning R&D and production, technical expertise, resources and subsuppliers, requirement management, software development and release planning for post production, development for upcoming future products, and the procedure to get a medical device CE marked and approved for use in therapy.

Esther Brännström's education history includes a Master's degree in Engineering Physics from The Faculty of Engineering at Lund University, which they obtained between 2005 and 2011. In 2018, they completed a course in Kvalitetssystemkrav för Medicinteknik - Viktigaste kraven i ISO 13485, MDR och QSReg at Key2Compliance AB. Additionally, they completed a course in French language at Aix-Marseille University between 2008 and 2009. Esther is currently enrolled in a course in Ledarskap at Adeptus, which they began in 2021.
