Michael Akinlotan

Michael Akinlotan, ACA, AICA, FMVA, has extensive experience in finance and accounting, beginning as an Accounts Payable Assistant at Dufil Prima Foods Plc from August 2011 to September 2012. In this role, responsibilities included processing invoices, posting journals, and ensuring proper documentation. Following this, Michael served as a Treasury Management Specialist, managing company accounts and daily bank positions. At De-United Foods Industries Ltd., from June 2016 to October 2018, responsibilities included data entry related to costing and inventory monitoring. Currently, Michael holds the position of Treasury Manager at VeeVee Paper Products Limited, starting in August 2022, and has transitioned to the same role at BIC since November 2024. Academic qualifications include a Master's degree in Finance from Rome Business School, a Financial Modeling & Valuation Analyst certification from the Corporate Finance Institute, an HND in Accountancy from The Federal Polytechnic, and a B.Sc. in Accounting from Southwestern University.
