Antonio Bitonto

Antonio Bitonto has a diverse work experience in the field of telecommunications. Antonio started their career at AIRCOM International in 2013, where they worked as an RF Engineer responsible for BTS/NodeB swap projects in France. Antonio performed various tasks such as data collection through drive testing and pedestrian tests, as well as organizing and coordinating activities.

In 2014, Antonio joined Fastweb as a Network Engineer Professional. Their main responsibilities included project management, technical requirements analysis, and test environment design. Antonio worked on projects related to Wi-Fi infrastructure, data retention platforms, and mobile core networks.

After four years at Fastweb, Antonio moved to Cubic Telecom in 2018. Here, they served as a Mobile Network Test Engineer and later as a Test Team Lead - Network/eSIM. Antonio was responsible for leading the test phase for network and service platform rollouts, as well as improving the test environment.

In 2022, Antonio joined Telnyx as a Mobile Network Engineer. Antonio worked on various aspects of mobile networks throughout the year.

Currently, they are working at BICS as an IoT Engineer starting in 2023. The specific details and responsibilities of their role are yet to be determined.

Antonio Bitonto has a diverse education history. Antonio obtained a Master's degree in Internet of Things from Dublin City University in 2020. Prior to that, they completed a Master's degree in Telecommunications Engineering from Politecnico di Torino from 2011 to 2013. Antonio also holds a Bachelor's degree in Ingenieria de telecomunicaciones from Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV) and a Bachelor's degree in Ingegneria delle telecomunicazioni from Università degli Studi di Palermo, both obtained between 2007 and 2010.

In terms of certifications, Antonio has obtained the ITIL Foundation Certificate v4 in IT Service Management from AXELOS Global Best Practice in October 2019. Antonio also holds certifications in IP Multimedia SubSystem (IMS) from K Labs in November 2017 and Certificazione DELE - C1 in November 2011. Additionally, they have completed training in 5G System Overview from Apis IP-Solutions Training AB and Learning Docker from LinkedIn, although the specific dates of completion are not available.
