Bart van Den Bempt

Bart Van den Bempt has a wide range of work experience in the telecommunications industry. Bart began their career as a Signaling Engineer and Roaming Coordinator at BICS in 2004, where they were responsible for customer contact, software testing, and network maintenance. Bart then progressed through various technical and managerial roles at BICS, including Senior Mobile Solutions Designer and Sr. Regional Technical Manager for both Africa and the MENA region. In these positions, they worked closely with customers and the sales organization to propose design solutions and optimize interconnections. Bart also served as a Key Account Manager at BICS before transitioning to the role of Product Sales Expert - Roaming, where they promoted wholesale Roaming solutions and developed a product strategy to increase market share throughout Europe. Most recently, Bart has been Senior Product Manager in the Digital Communications department at BICS, leading the development of new and existing solutions and overseeing a team of Product Managers. Bart is currently the Head of Digital and Cloud Communications Portfolio at BICS, leading the development of digital communication solutions and creating a leading position in the growing market. Bart also has some early experience with IP Globalnet as a Customer Support representative and with Reymen Data Center nv as a student intern.
