Fernando Domingues

Fernando Domingues has extensive work experience in the telecommunications industry. Fernando began their career at Sonaecom in 1998, where they held the role of Value Add Services - Specialist Technical Operations. In this role, they were responsible for ensuring high-quality and cost-effective services and core network operations. Their tasks involved failure management, configuration management, data administration, performance management, and security management across various platforms. Fernando displayed strong coordination skills when working with suppliers and demonstrated a deep understanding of the telecommunications business.

In 2012, Fernando joined Skyline Communications as an Engineer. During their time there, they contributed to various projects until their departure in 2014.

Fernando then joined BICS in 2014, initially as a Specialist Service Design Engineer. In this role, they designed and negotiated solutions for customer interconnections, ensuring optimal cost and usage of network resources. Fernando also updated guidelines and shared them with the team. In 2017, Fernando was promoted to the role of Senior Service Design Engineer, in which they led end-to-end customer interconnection projects, overseeing the design phase and implementation. Fernando Domingues obtained a Master's degree in Electro technical Engineering – Systems and Communications from the Instituto Superior de Engenharia de Lisboa. Fernando completed their degree from 1992 to 1998. Prior to that, they attended Colegio Academico, where they received their high school education in Computer Engineering from 1980 to 1992.
