Jan de Cocker

Jan De Cocker is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in IT and corporate security. Currently serving as a Corporate Security Officer and IT Infrastructure and Operations Manager at BICS since January 2000, Jan is responsible for managing all infrastructure layers, including PCs, internal telephony, WAN lines, servers, and security operations. Prior to this role, Jan worked as IT Operations Manager at Belgacom ICS from 1999 to January 2014 and held the position of Development Team Manager. Jan began the career at Rijkswacht from 1986 to 1992 as IT Manager. Jan holds a Master's degree in Biology and IT from Ghent University, completed between 1979 and 1985.
