Michael Timm

Michael Timm has over 20 years of experience in various roles within the field of IoT and machine-to-machine communication. Michael started their career as a Patrol Officer and K9 Officer at the City of Sun Prairie. Michael then moved on to the private sector, working as a CEO and Co-Owner for Sky Shield USA/Trip Trak, where they managed GPS/RFID Cargo and Temperature Tracking business. After that, they served as the Co-Owner and CEO of All-Trax LLC, where they were responsible for managing a GPS/RFID Cargo and Temperature Tracking business. Michael then worked as the Director of Connectivity Sales at CrossBridge Solutions, overseeing m2m/IoT sales and business development. Following that, they worked at Telit Wireless Solutions as an Inside Sales Manager and later as the Midwest Regional Sales Manager, focusing on IoT solutions. Michael then joined Aeris Communications as a Business Development Manager, working with strategic IoT accounts, before transitioning into a role focused on IoT solutions. Currently, they are working at BICS as a Senior Business Development Manager, specializing in Global IoT.

Michael Timm attended Lincoln High School from 1985 to 1988, where they obtained their high school diploma. Michael then enrolled at Fox Valley Technical College from 1988 to 1992, majoring in Criminal Justice with a focus on Police/Law. Following this, Michael attended Mid State Technical College from 1988 to 1989, pursuing a degree in General Business/Law with a field of study in Criminal Justice/Police Science. Lastly, from 1992 to 2007, they attended various training schools, including Madison Area Technical College, for which specific degrees or fields of study are not specified.
