L2 Network Support Engineer (over Infopulse Ukraine Llc) at BICS

Vadym Poliakov first worked at Volia from September 2009 to September 2012 as a NOC Engineer and Administrator of CAS & DB. In this role, they were responsible for monitoring and maintaining the stable operation of the Conax Conditional Access System, troubleshooting and providing technical support for contact centers, monitoring the company's TV and Internet services, and handling fault issues and escalations.

Vadym then joined BICS in October 2012 as a Service and Network Assurance Engineer. In this role, they participated in the identification and resolution of technical issues on Messaging, Signaling, and Roaming nodes of BICS. Vadym also provided customer support for various mobile messaging and network services, proactively monitored international carrier services and platforms, and worked with engineers from other departments to minimize downtime and assist with maintenance and upgrade activities.

From June 2013 to May 2019, Vadym served as a Voice Quality of Service Engineer at BICS. Vadym'sresponsibilities in this role included ensuring the quality of voice services, analyzing and resolving issues on the network, and providing support to customers and suppliers.

In May 2019, Vadym transitioned to the position of L2 Network Support Engineer at BICS. In this role, they continued to identify and coordinate the resolution of technical issues, provide customer support, perform requested provisioning activities, and analyze and improve proactive monitoring approaches.

Throughout their career, Vadym has also been involved in trainings for new employees, creating processes and procedures for internal proactive teams, and incident management within the broader SNA team at BICS.

Vadym Poliakov obtained a Master's degree in Telecommunication Systems and Networks from the National Aviation University. Vadym attended the university from 2004 to 2009.
