Rick Wilson

Rick Wilson has a strong background in finance and business optimization. Rick started their career in Canfor in 1998, where they held various roles such as Manager, General Accounting and Regional Controller. In 2008, they joined the BID Group as VP of Corporate Development and Strategic Capital. Rick later returned to Canfor as Vice President of Corporate Development and Strategic Capital. In 2017, they joined Eight Solutions Inc. as VP of Forest Industry Development. In 2018, they became the President of Oper8 Technologies Inc. and also worked as Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President of Business Optimization at BID Group. In their most recent role, starting from 2020, they serve as Executive Vice President of Business Optimization at the BID Group of Companies.

Rick Wilson obtained their CPA CMA degree in Accounting and Finance from the Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada (CPA Canada) in 2003-2004. Rick also pursued further studies in Accounting and Finance at CPA, CMA, and obtained another CPA CMA degree from CPA Canada.
