Alan Dweck

Alan Dweck has extensive work experience in the financial industry. Alan started their career as a Derivatives & FX Trader and Broker in various City institutions from 1984 to 1997. During this time, they gained experience in interbank OTC derivatives brokering, FX and futures trading, and some exposure to trading commodity swaps and fixed interest.

In 1997, Dweck joined Bloomberg as an Application Specialist, Sales, and Special Projects Manager. Alan was responsible for Bloomberg Terminal sales and project management, particularly focused on electronic trading functionality across different asset classes. Alan also led Bloomberg's connectivity project with the ASX.

In 2000, Dweck transitioned to Bloomberg LP as the Asia Pac FX Manager. Alan coordinated FX sales activities across all global regions and worked closely with development groups to define product strategy and direction. In 2007, they took on the role of Global FX Sales, continuing to oversee FX sales activities before becoming the Director of the V-FX Business at Velsys Ltd in 2008. Alan held this position until 2011.

From 2011 to 2012, Dweck served as the Executive Director at ProWerkz before joining TradingScreen in 2012. At TradingScreen, they held the positions of Regional Head, Singapore, and Head of TradeOTC, Asia Pac.

Most recently, Dweck joined BidFX in 2017 as the Head of Asia and later took on the role of Chief Operating Officer in November 2019.

Alan Dweck has obtained an MBA degree from the Macquarie Graduate School of Management (MGSM). No specific years or field of study were provided.
