Jay Guidos

Jay Guidos has extensive experience in software architecture and development, specializing in Java and DevOps practices. Currently serving as a Dev Ops Specialist at BIDS Trading since 2012, Jay designs and builds continuous deployment pipelines utilizing a diverse tech stack. Previous roles include Senior Java Architect positions at Dark Technologies, where Jay developed high-availability systems for stock trading, and PetLynx, where Jay implemented a service-oriented architecture. Additional experience spans middleware architecture at EnCana and team leadership in various capacities, showcasing a strong foundation in agile methodologies and high-performance systems. Jay holds a B.Sc. in Geology and Computer Science from the University of Alberta.
