Rob Komjathy

Rob Komjathy is the Director of Data Services at Bidtellect. Prior to their current position, they served as Production Manager at ShopLocal from April 2007 to October 2009. In this role, they were responsible for the management and maintenance of 17+ accounts belonging to many well known brands. Rob also served as the main point-of-contact for each client, responsible for developing and maintaining the business relationships.

Under their supervision, their team developed a tradition of quick turnaround times with high quality deliverables. They prided themselves on timely and complete responses to their clients for issues such as general questions, services and technical support.

Rob developed a keen interest in databases and technology in general while in this position. Rob taught himself MS SQL and quickly used that knowledge to develop tools and other quality control measures.

As part of the production management team, they were also responsible for recruiting, scheduling, and payroll management. Rob provided annual and quarterly employee evaluations, focusing on setting achievable goals for each upcoming quarter.

Rob Komjathy has a Master of Science in Computational Linguistics from the University of Washington and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing with a Minor in German from Western Michigan University.

They are on a team with Jason Taylor - Director of IT, Arthur Hainline - VP of Product, and Luke Kalish - SVP of Engineering. Some direct reports include Ron Bibb - Sr. Software Engineer - Data, Hui Liu - Data Engineer. Rob Komjathy reports to Michael Conway, CTO.
