Mark Steyn

Mark Steyn's work experience began in 1994 as an Audit Senior at Deloitte Canada. Mark then worked as an Audit Manager at the same company from November 1996 to March 1997. In 1997, they joined Bidfreight Terminals (Pty) Ltd as a Financial Manager, a role they held until June 2000. Mark then became the Financial Director at South African Bulk Terminals Ltd from 2000 to 2002. Mark then joined Bidfreight Terminals as a Finance Director from July 2002 to September 2012. From October 2012 to February 2018, they worked as a CFO at Bidvest Freight. Currently, Mark is the Group CFO at The Bidvest Group Limited, a position they have held since March 2018.

Mark Steyn obtained a BCom degree in Accounting from the University of KwaZulu-Natal, which they attended from 1988 to 1993. Mark then pursued further education at the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants, where they obtained a CA(SA) qualification in Accounting and Finance, completing their studies in 1996.
